The outside area overlooking the beautiful nature of Gozo, is considered extremely spacious by Maltese standards and has been given textured paving. The curves of the swimming-pool break the angularity of the space, which has clean lines. It is a dramatic area, particularly so when the sun is low in the sky and valley is suffused with a soft reddish glow.
There is an outdoor kitchen and lots of shaded entertaining spaces. This is a temporary retreat with a distinct atmosphere of permanence. It is fitted out for regular use, and has none of that drifting, here-today-gone-tomorrow feeling of so many second homes and holiday retreats on Malta’s sister island. It would be an easy place to live in year-round.
